WHAT month is it??

October? Cause it sure looks more like December around here:

I don't know if you can see it, but a big branch broke off our maple tree in the bak yard. The snow is really wet and heavy, and the leaves are still on the trees. There are branches down everywhere around here. Our hedge is about a foot shorter too.
School is not cancelled, though. Outside of London, there is no snow apparently. The radar shows a band straight from Lake Huron (Grand Bend) through London.
It will all melt tomorrow. Funny weather...

And some other pictures that have been waiting for a blog:
This is how Natalie helps me bake:

The day Deanna got her foot stuck on her bed. Silly girl...

Not to be Forgotten...

...last Friday, Allison and Amanda celebrated their 7th birthday! Wow!
They were very happy with their Webkinz, new purses and Kooky Klicker pens!

We took a cake along to the reunion, and had a "drop-in" celebration in our trailer.

Thanksgiving Weekend

After much planning and emailing and anticipating, on Friday afternoon we packed up the van and the kids and headed to Sherkston Shores for a Harsevoort reunion! The last Harsevoort reunion was in 1994, so it was definitely time!
It was a wonderful weekend! The weather was gorgeous, the trailers were nice, the resort was splendiferous! And the company.... well, that was great too. Lots of catching up and renewing relationships was done, remember whens... and new memories...
The interior of our trailer... we had a 3 bedroom model, which also had a pullout couch in the living room. It worked out really well.

The quarry and beach behind the hall. The kids had fun in the sand, and the adults enjoyed the sunshine on the patio...

Saturday afternoon Talent Show...

Saturday dinner in the restaurant, followed by minigolf..

Sunday afternoon on the beach...

Waiting for fireworks....

Everybody helping clean up the hall on Sunday night...

That poster was a list of all the birthdays/anniversaries on this weekend. There were a lot!

WE'RE MOVING!!!

...to a new school, that is! After 32 years, CCS London will have a new location in Lambeth. A school came up for sale there, just right for our needs, and at the right price, and last night the membership voted in favour of purchasing this building! This is an exciting time for our school, there will be lots of changes ahead, and lots of WORK!!
Here's a few pictures of the new facility:

Front of the building - now owned by Faith Community Christian School. Sadly, their society dissolved last April, and the building has been empty since then. Many supplies are still there, there is even a fully stocked kindergarten classroom!

A couple of the classrooms. Everything is included in the sale price! Even the computers...
And A GYM!!! With a STAGE!! We can put on our plays in our own facility now!!!
This is the auditorium, currently rented by a church.
There is also a nice staff room, a main office, principals office, plenty of washrooms, a tiny but functional kitchen, etc etc etc....
