Friday night was the Ladies' Auxiliary Fundraiser Chili Fiesta! It was lots of fun. I was busy in the kitchen with the rest of the Auxiliary for most of the night, but I did get a few pictures...
Setting dessert ready while the main course was being served. If we can't sit down to eat, we can at least lick the dessert pans, right ladies?
Good food with good friends!
After having the flu visit our house last week, I was a little worried that we wouldn't make it to the Fiesta. Fortunately everyone was feeling better by Friday, except Art, so he stayed home with Natalie. Probably better that way, since she really hates crowds of people. Not so fond of chili either.

It does sound like fun!! Too bad we were in Orangeville...and Sherri got sick...and Callum was cranky (because he doesn't like crowds either, and we had a faily reunion up North).
Glad it turned out well!
Where was it held? That doesn't look like CCS or the church basement...
No, that's the Strathroy URC. Beautiful kitchen!
Looks it. Was it a joint venture, or you just rented their building for the evening?
No, it was put on by the Ladies Auxiliary (of which I am a member). We just used their building. It was a promotional dinner for CCS, so we try to get a lot of URC people out. Helps if we use their building!
