WHAT month is it??

October? Cause it sure looks more like December around here:

I don't know if you can see it, but a big branch broke off our maple tree in the bak yard. The snow is really wet and heavy, and the leaves are still on the trees. There are branches down everywhere around here. Our hedge is about a foot shorter too.
School is not cancelled, though. Outside of London, there is no snow apparently. The radar shows a band straight from Lake Huron (Grand Bend) through London.
It will all melt tomorrow. Funny weather...

And some other pictures that have been waiting for a blog:
This is how Natalie helps me bake:
The beautiful roses I got for my birthday:
The day Deanna got her foot stuck on her bed. Silly girl...
And Allison trying to unstuck her.

Oh, hey.... um.... Happy Birthday! I should really look at our P-Calendar more often!

We had a few flakes of snow...you had to concentrate to see them, though. I can hardly wait for our first snow-fall!

I just realized I put my comment on the wrong entry :)

Found it, Suzanne!
I didn't blog about my birthday because there wasn't really anything to say. Art was out of town, so it was just me and the kids. And a storebought McCain Deep n Delicious cake. And "guilt" roses from my hubby.
Huh. I guess I could have made a blog entry out of that...

Rose,
Tell your kids the snow is melting.... we didn't even bother shovelling. It was way too wet and heavy anyway..

Neat template! How did you do it?

Go to www.TheCutestBlogOnTheBlock.com

They have cool free templates, and it was easy to change it.

Found you blog via Chandra's blog. Glad to see it's snowing out your way because our partner growers are going to start shipping poinsettias to Costco out there on Monday, I think!

Looks a lot more like Christmas out there than here :)

Hi Tamara! Always good to know who's reading my blog. So where is "here"? Our snow is gone, this past week we had 19* highs mostly every day, but now it is back down to 4* and more seasonal weather.
We are always glad to see poinsettias - they are so cheery!
