I have Two Teenagers?

IMPOSSIBLE!
But true.

Yesterday, Deanna's long-anticipated 13th birthday arrived!  Much planning and making wish lists and choosing sleepover movies and sleepover activities and menus occurred lately.
And THEN Deanna was chosen (on Tuesday) along with another girl in her class to represent our school at the Regional Speech Contest.  Deanna's speech was on Abortion.  She worked hard on it, did lots of research, and presented a very well-written and factual speech.  Sadly, I could not be there to watch, but from what I heard, she did a fine job!
After school, 4 extra girls came home with us for the big P-A-R-T-Y!
Tacos for supper, followed by ice skating downtown, followed by black forest cake, pj's and Mr. Bean.  Not sure when the sleeping part happened... but they had a good time.

Spoiled rotten!

Black Forest Cake - and heart-shaped too!

Doing each other hair while watching a movie :)

SKATING!

We had fun!

She certainly is growing up to be a young lady.  She is a great help to her Mom (usually) and tries really hard to be a kind sister.  She is sensitive, funny, considerate, smart, conscientious, and beautiful.  We love her, and pray that God will continue to bless her as she grows in His service.
