Yet Another Snow Day.... Is It Spring YET???

The girls went out to build a snowman after lunch (I told them it was recess time). It's not that cold out, the sun is shining, and the snow is packing! They had fun...

Natalie was out with them for a few minutes. Then she wanted to paint. Usually she is very good at using the paint brushes, but today... not so much! I was busy folding laundry. I should have clued in when she was SO quiet!

Tim spent about 2 hours shovelling driveways this morning, and came home with $45 to show for it! He's done pretty well for himself this winter. We'll see how many lawns he can mow in the summer. Ours, at least!

Let's hope that this is the last snow day of the season, and that spring will come soon. Isn't that what the groundhogs predicted?

No, we need at least one more snowday. The last couple have been silly. The first on a day we had off already (what a waste!), and this one during exams, which is just annoying because now we have to reschedule one.

Sorry Lisa, you're going to have to put up with having your kids home for at least one more snow day...

You're too old for snowdays.

Never! Snowdays are great. As long as I'm still in school (which doesn't seem like it will be much longer), I will always love snowdays. As a minister, I don't think that they will affect me as much.

Well, we've had church cancelled two Sundays this year, and catechism a few times, so ministers are still affected by weather...

That's not a snowman... more like a snowdwarf. What did they use for the eyes and mouth, droppies??
Snow days are still great even for us working stiffs. I even stayed at home yesterday instead of fighting the traffic for a couple of hours to get to the office. I can work from home on my laptop, so I did technically "work" yesterday.
Love
Dad

Alright, it's a snow "midget". The eyes and nose are grapes. I think the squirrels ate them. Or maybe the girls did.
More snow coming Saturday...

Saturday!? I don't have class on Saturday... nor at all next week. And I'm not even preaching this Sunday. I am still hoping for a good snow day from school...so is Sherri. I generally take it easy on snow days, so they're nice and relaxing.
