Today was the day of Grade 5/6's production of Oliver Twist! It was obvious that a lot of effort and preparation went into this production - costumes, props, fake British accents, they even memorized their lines!
Well done, Grade 5&6! It was very enjoyable to watch.,
Here are a few pictures:
Chelsea and Jared as the narrators
The famous "may I have some more" scene
After running away from the orphanage, Oliver meets the Artful Dodger
The boys roasting sausages at Fagin's hideout.
The Artful Dodger demonstrating his pick-pocketing technique.
At Mr. Brownlow's house after recovering from his fever
Oops! Caught by Nancy and returned to Fagin
Foiled! The whole gang is arrested and dragged off to jail
Curtain call!

Looks like everyone had a lot of fun. I.m surprised that there is enough room in the school basement for a stage and the entire school to sit and watch.

There was not a whole lot of extra room, for sure!
Memorized their lines even! That must have been quite the show! Nice hat on Timothy, by the way. I've always wanted a nice top hat...
Well, for $2 worth of bristol board and some tape, you can have one!!!
Wow, that gym, those poles! So many memories come flooding back. Like vaulting......into the ceiling, and springboarding.....into the ceiling, and volleyball...into the ceiling. Good thing there was ringette! Looks like the kids had fun, and the Artful Dodger! that's a dream part! nice work Tim.
